With the invention of the game Halo, an entire group of gamers began an odyssey. This very popular set of games has a premise based on aliens versus humans. In the first game, a group of aliens have collected and they want to destroy all humans. They form a group called the Covenant. This terrifying alien horde is set to come and find; and then kill all of the humans. The heroes in the story are a group of humans lead by a Spartan. This Spartan is a human with super skills that enable him to fight the aliens. Deciding to lead the aliens away from Earth, this group discovers a planet they call Halo. This is the stage for the battle between the aliens and the humans.

Fans of the Halo series have been eagerly awaiting the release date of Halo 3 which now seems to be confirmed for September 25th 2007 in American and the 26th of September in Europe. Halo 3 is anticipated to be one of the biggest games ever so Microsoft are expected to keep the hype rolling all year long to culminate into a huge finale.

Halo 3 itself is already successful so it is no surprise how successful the commercial has turned out to be. Watched by breathless fans for that too quick minute when it aired, it has since been transported to countless websites and watched over and over and over again. It was a mix of CG and live action that leaves fans wondering if the movie is not just a dream.
