Halo 1 - Combat Evolved was the first in the hugely popular Halo series. It is a first person shooter that was released on the Xbox in 2001 to a lot of hype that proved to be fulfilled as this game became known as one of the top games on any console, never mind the Xbox.

One of most interesting aspects of the Halo trilogy is the ability to influence the friendlies in the game to do your bidding. These ally characters are a huge asset when traveling around Halo in battle. It is no surprise, however, that the developers of Halo 3 decided to improve upon the already excellent features in the game. The friendlies in Halo have also been improved upon.

The world of video games has its own complicated jargon - a mishmash of Japanese terms, hacker words and pop culture images. When you are trying to buy something for your video game obsessed friend or family member, it can be hard to figure out just what you are buying. One thing that is a hit with video game fans are “sprites”. If they are also a fan of the popular game series Halo, then they would love some “Halo sprites”.

Just like Monty Python or Pink Floyd, there is actually no one named Luna Halo. The name refers to a Christian rock band. Unlike most rock bands, they are American, although they sound British. Luna Halo is very popular in - you guessed it - the niche Christian music market. Rock and roll is about being yourself and being yourself loudly, so the words “Christian rock” are not an oxymoron.

The web has given us wonder additions to our vocabulary like ROFL and blog. One of the hallmarks of “netspeak” is trying to use as little language as possible. Abbreviations are very popular - such as ROFL (Roll On the Floor Laughing). One of the newest words in that category is Mmorpg. Make up your own pronunciation - there is not as yet an official one.

The PSP is widely loved around the world and there are some great products and accessories that are available to go with it. When it comes to buying consumer electronics, many people are afraid of buying used products, and rightfully so. Many stores which resell used products do not vigorously check for defects or other problems with the product that they accept. In some more extreme cases, employees of brick and mortar stores which resell these products have accepted empty cases without any electronics inside and wired controllers where the wire had been torn off. If you want all the trust of a brand new product, then you’ll want to buy a new PSP instead of going used.
